SOME ACTUAL ISSUES OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN POST-COMMUNIST GEORGIA

Summary

The paper deals with some issues of economic development in Post-Communist Georgia. In particular, the declaration  of Georgian independence gave the  birth to Soviet mental attitude towards the work. Old party and farm nomenclature took a place in government and industrial Governance, who did not have enough knowledge and some experience in effective implementation of activities and market  management, which caused the problem of country development.  Obviously, that the country is in crisis, therefore, more effort is needed to awaken all members of society, to embark on a path of positive development. Every citizen should understand that we need to design and implant the new projects that will create jobs.

The paper emphasizes that the most urgent tasks of improving the well-being of the population should be vital in resolving the acute problems facing the country, as the standard of living in the country has reached a critical level. Most state employees do not pay attention to well -being of the population, improvement and stability of their living conditions. State employees  are obliged to use their knowledge and experience for the development and well being  of the country.

It is general truth that import and export of the product are  important parts for the foreign economy, but it is completely unjustified when the export or import feasibility is  economically baseless.

It would be better to reduce import growth slowly. To do this, the entrepreneurial sector needs to be developed. Despite widespread declarations, financial organizations are failing to take appropriate actions to accelerate the growth of small businesses. More attention and support are  needed from the government  to create the conditions for business development. We consider  that it is  necessary to establish business schools in the regions, which will play a big  role  for the people who are  interested in business. The pre-existing scientific potential and its supporting material-technical base can play an essential  role for  its development, which is almost destroyed and its recovery-development requires solid capital investment. Despite many good and successful activities in today's Georgia, the existence of many disciplines are in the deplorable conditions, because they do not follow the processes required by technology, which obviously has a bad effect on the country's economy. There are no unique canning plants, wineries, confectionery, bread, dairy and non-alcoholic beverages factories, flour-milling plant and many more  plants in the regions, in fact our country has many powerful villages, which play important role for strengthening country, there were developed tea-planting, viticulture, livestock, poultry and so on. According to this raw material processing plants were functioning, where thousands workers were employed. All of our country regions were very beautiful. Country’s  economic and demographic situations       were rather stable.

It can be said that Georgia is poor among the former Soviet Union countries, in fact the country has natural minerals, as well as human and intellectual resources, which requires proper and effective management, according to this it is possible to obtain the necessary income for the country. In terms of globalization, many things will be revalued, but it is necessary not to lose and forget our tradition’s best parts, which we will never forget. These traditions and the wonders of nature attract tourists, visitors from different countries of the planet.
